Ever bound for ragged glory, Rheostatics occupy a unique place in the Canadian music landscape, pulled together and apart for nearly forty years. Finding grace in the reality of endurance, they show us a special type of longevity, through upheaval, personal (and personnel) change, and a basic refusal to play the game in any way, shape or form, stretched over decades. Now, Rheostatics return with Here Come The Wolves, their first new album in 15 years via Six Shooter Records. They return as their original 1980 four, Dave Bidini, Dave Clark, Martin Tielli and Tim Vesely, now also with Hugh Marsh and Kevin Hearn.

Inspired by months of travel and exploration around the world, Bobbi Bazini returns with his latest collection of songs. Having established himself as one of Canada’s exciting songwriters with "I Wonder" and "C'est La Vie", his fourth album, “SUMMER IS GONE”, asks us to delve deeper into the mellifluous realms of his creative universe. Expect a revelatory live show as he showcases his latest opus, and revisits his already classic canon.

Canada’s fan favourite, Jim Cuddy has announced the details of his Countrywide Soul Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the Countrywide Soul Tour kicks off in Kingston, Ontario on October 25th and will be in support of his new album Countrywide Soul.

Masters in the Hall – Celtic Music for Christmastime

North American Irish Fiddle Champion Kyle Burghout joins forces with flute/whistle player Justin Thériault and Celtic harpist Susan Toman to perform a collection of traditional and contemporary Celtic music from Ireland, Scotland, and Canada. The concert will feature music specially selected for the holiday season, with accompanying anecdotes about the history of the tunes and stories from the trio’s travels. This is a rare opportunity for audiences to hear three of Ottawa’s leading traditional musicians performing in concert together.
