Zoom Live: Yin Yoga with Nicole

Join Nicole MacDonald for this hour-long class that invites you to breathe deeply, relax your body and take the time to sink into each pose (asana). It will calm you down immensely and leave you feeling grounded and centred in your body.
What you’ll need: Have two blocks handy for all classes (or hardcover books of equal thickness of 4″). Wear comfortable stretchy clothes, a yoga mat preferably (exercise mat, towel or blanket), and water.
New to Yin? Based on Chinese Medicine, yin is about slowing down and connecting to yourself. The asanas are held anywhere from 5 cycles of breath to several minutes longer.

– Increases circulation
– Improves flexibility
– Releases fascia and improves joint mobility
Yin yoga improves energy flow and enhances the flow of chi in the organs but the practice also offers huge mental and emotional benefits too.
