SnB Presents: Fahrenheit 451

March 14 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 7:00pm, repeating until March 17, 2019

In a dystopian futuristic society, fireman Guy Montag’s job is to burn books. Books are the enemy here, where people do not read or think critically; instead, they watch television and drive fast cars. As Montag’s dissatisfaction with life increases, so does his interest in reading. He soon becomes involved in a scheme to re-introduce literature, culture and free thought into the city. A commentary on the state of civilization, Fahrenheit 451 is Bradbury’s most famous work.
