New Year’s Eve 2023 in Ottawa – What’s Happening?

It’s that time of the year again where the pressure is on to find the “most fun thing to do” on New Year’s Eve! Hopefully I can help you out a little with this list! I’ve dug around on the internet and put together a list of all the parties that are going on throughout Ottawa, organized by area of the city.

Disclaimer: this is not all inclusive; I didn’t list every single bar/restaurant party that I could find as this list would be way too long. So, if you have a favourite watering hole, they probably are having a party too. If, however, you know of a larger event that I’m missing, I’ll keep this list live with any updates or new parties that I can add so feel free to send me some info and I’ll include it too.

Before hitting up the regions, I’d like to highlight a great initiative from my friends at the New Year’s Eve Charity Ball who raise money supporting Journey House. I’ve attended their in-person event, and it’s an incredible evening while supporting adults with developmental challenges. This year, they’re running a virtual event and auction to raise funds.
