OTTAWA, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 – Van Gogh 360º is coming to Ottawa this summer. This falls under the category of good news for art lovers who may have missed the highly successful Van Gogh art exhibit at Lansdowne Park last summer—or for those who liked it so much they’d like to see another exhibition like it.
On the heels of last summer’s popular exhibit, this new presentation will offer another opportunity to enjoy an incredible immersive art experience—Van Gogh 360º—featuring the work of one of the most famous and influential figures in the history of western art. Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings are housed in galleries and collections around the globe. Van Gogh 360º brings the artist’s most popular works together in one dynamic show.
The venue at Lansdowne Park’s Aberdeen Pavilion will feature a room dedicated to telling the story of Vincent Van Gogh and another larger, immersive room that will display more than 300 of Van Gogh’s most popular works, presenting an opportunity for visitors to surround themselves in the works of this storied artist.
“Immersive art shows like Van Gogh 360º are great for the entire family because they change the viewing experience for the audience and make art more accessible,” said Stéfanie Power, the event’s Operations Manager. “We received an overwhelming response to the immersive exhibit we presented last year, and are pleased to be bringing back another Van Gogh art experience to Ottawa this summer.”
