The annual CCLA/CGTC (Carleton County Law Association/Great Canadian Theatre Company) Lawyer Play has a cast composed of lawyers, law students, paralegals, judges and magistrates. It is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019, thanks to the ongoing and generous support of sponsors and theatre enthusiasts.
This year’s play – War of Two Worlds – is written especially for the Lawyer Play by GCTC’s own Eric Coates and Hugh Neilson, and will be presented June 5-8, 2019. Our 2019 charity partner is St. Mary’s Home, a not-for-profit charitable organization serving the Ottawa area and beyond since 1933. St. Mary’s Home provides specialized residential and community support services to marginalized young pregnant women (ages 13-25), young parents, and their children.

We have special catering for every gala night in addition to wine, beer and whiskey samplings as well as complementary beer and wine during intermission and post-show appetizers, which will make it a fun evening of theatre people won’t soon forget while helping raise funds for a good cause.
