Happy Civic Holiday to my Ottawa readers! I hope everyone is having or has had a great long weekend! Time to start planning the next week. If you missed Buskerfest this past weekend, don’t worry, you still have Monday to take in some great acts. I made it there on Saturday to check it out and posted a couple videos on my Youtube page. This week, for festivals you’ll find the Greek Festival starting up Thursday and running for a week and a half. Don’t miss this fantastic outing for great food and entertainment! The South Asian Festival also kicks off Friday with events in various locations, so check out the website for full listings. Next up, don’t miss the continuation of the Casino Lac Leamy Sound of Lights International Fireworks competition that is on Wednesday and Saturday this week with the primary location at the Museum of History.

A couple neat events to point out this week. Ottawa Art Battle Archives is having a party at Atomic Rooster on Tuesday where you can check out some masterpieces from the Art Battle series of events. Also, this weekend, Hazeldean Mall is the host of Ottawa Idol 2018.
