Welcome to the first week of summer!!! Festival season in Ottawa continues, and accented by so many other events throughout the city! Sunday is Canada Day!! I’ve created a separate post for Canada Day activities throughout the city so they’re not included in this post. You can find all the Canada Day events by clicking here!

Music is the theme of the week, and will likely carry on through July! Jazz Fest continues all week at Confederation Park and wraps up on Sunday. Canada Day on Parliament Hill has Elijah Woods, Lights, and the Arkells. Monday night features Shania Twain at the Canadian Tire Centre and Xavier Rudd at the Algonquin Commons Theatre. Finally, there’s the Ambush 25^th Anniversary Reunion concert on Friday night at Lone Star East. The non-musical live events worth highlighting are Cirques du Soleil: Corteo running Wednesday to Sunday, and The Sunset Ceremonies are at the RCMP Stables from Wednesday to Saturday.
