Easter Long weekend has arrived this week, so we can look forward to a short work week (most of us anyway). It seems as though events have trailed off a little to allow for some more family time this weekend. But don’t fret, there’s still lots going on to keep everyone occupied. The week kicks off with the return of Nelly in concert at Algonquin Commons Theatre. I can’t wait to go to this concert again, I got to see him up close and personal at Bluesfest two years ago, and it was incredible!! He puts on such a great show and you really have no idea how many of his songs you know!!

Illusionists starts Tuesday at the National Arts Centre and runs all week, it looks incredible and it’s not too late to get tickets! Stage Kiss continues at The Gladstone for it’s second week so make sure to catch it before it’s gone. Continuing the recent trend for great concerts in Ottawa, in addition to Nelly on Monday, we’ve got Rod Stewart at the CTC on Thursday followed by the Peptides at British on Saturday night. For the maple lovers, there’s “Oh so Maple” running Thursday night at the Centurion Centre, and finally, my event of the week is the Faces Magazine Casino Royale event taking place Saturday at Brookstreet Hotel.
