Although it looks like winter is back with the cold temps, it’s the first day of spring this week, and events are starting to heat up!!! There’s so much going on this week, I don’t even know how to comment, so I’ll just point out the highlights. The Sens have three home games this week against Florida, Edmonton and Carolina. There are two major trade shows in town with the International Auto Show at the Shaw Centre, and the Home and Garden Show at the EY Centre. It’s a week of amazing concerts in the city featuring Tom Cochrane, Foreigner, Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers, Judas Priest, Disco Inferno, and Ambush (see my Ambush review at the Barley Mow Merivale here).

Sugar Lumber Fest runs all day Saturday, Nature Nocturne and Andez Hotel’s Beats and Brunch are both running this week, and for all your Karaoke fans, you’ll have to choose on Friday night between Disney music at Oliver’s Pub, or Hip-Hop Karaoke at the Elmdale. Finally, Stage Kiss starts Friday at the Gladstone Theatre as the major theatrical contribution to this very busy week and runs until the 31^st.

• Eatapedia, BBQ Pitmaster Classes (back yard version, competition version…Saturday/Sunday @ Cindy’s Restaurant)
