Week at a Glance: Ottawa Events October 16th – 22nd

Here we are with a new week, and what a busy week it is!! There are so many great events coming up this week, it’s tough to make time for them all. At the NAC, the Phantom of the Opera is starting up, The Gladstone Theatre continues week #2 of Bent, Miwaté continues at the Chaudiere Falls, the Women’s Show and the Wedding Show are both on together at the EY Centre (probably not a coincidence) and there’s lots of hockey going on with three Sens’ home games and a 67s game. There’s also a few Gala’s and fancy events through the week, and if business networking is your thing, eSAX Entrepreneurial Social Advantage is running on Wednesday! What a great week to live in Ottawa!

If you’re hosting an event in the future, I now offer advertising on my site…please check out the “Promote your Event” link on the main menu for details. Also, now started, you’ll find a new feature on the website highlighting the hidden gems of Ottawa called “Hidden Ottawa”. It’s going to be populated slowly over time, with a new addition this week for the gluten free/vegan population. I tried Strawberry Blonde Bakery for the first time, and wow it was great. Check out my review that will be posted Monday.

The following information is a brief summary only, and you can get full details by clicking the event link taking you to the full event calendar. The event calendar will likely get updated as the week progresses so stay up to date there.
